Ilse the manager was extremely welcoming and professional. Everything in this Guest House was efficiently organised. The bedroom and public rooms were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good. The location - immediately opposite the imposing main church and close to the centre of old Stellenbosch - was ideal for walks and light meals in the nearby Botanical Gardens and for the many cafés and restaurants in the vicinity. Private, off-street parking was available immediately outside the Guest House. We would strongly recommend De Hoek Manor tor anyone intending to spend one or more nights in the lovely town of Stellenbosch.

Location was fantastic - central Stellenbosch and very close to restaurants Friendly, clean, big bed, rooms airconditioned Got a nice country feel Turndown service with sherry & chocolates was a nice touch
Breakfast was standard bacon & eggs which was a little disappointing - we were expecting much more as the area offers so much fresh produce. lots of great places for breakfast less than 5mins walk though!!

Very nice hotel! Great value for your money. The hotel room was clean, confortable and big. The staff is very friendly and helped me in all my needs. The location is great, in the downtown, but without the noise of the bars and restaurants.

the people, especially the ladies and Isak
The room (5) is a safety hazard. The shower bottom is badly positioned and one hits ones leg on the bottom.

I absolutely loved my stay at this place! The location was perfect, tucked away in a quiet street next to a church. The staff were so friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The room was fantastic, with all the amenities I could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was stocked with luxurious toiletries. I also appreciated the small touches like the heated sheets and towels. this place exceeded my expectations and made my vacation truly enjoyable.
I would highly recommend this hotel to my family.

It is clean, smart, upmarket, well situated. We were very happy to stay there.
Room a bit airless. Having windows and blinds open exposes the inside of the room to outside viewers. Only one small window opened to the exterior of the hotel and it was difficult to open. Apart from that the room was excellent. Breakfast was poor. Slices of a few fruits, including almost totally unripe guavas were available. Wife asked for poached eggs and did not get proper poached eggs. My eggs (fried sunny side up) were hard and broken, and hardly resemlbled eggs.
